Building on the core learning of Tea Essentials, this award brings the culture of tea and tea types into sharper focus. As a Tea Guide, you will be able to talk with confidence about specific teas, their origins, the craft of processing from leaf to cup, the influence of terroir and varietal and how to perfect the Art of Tea Brewing.
After completing some self-guided learning on green, white and yellow tea, you can join a live, tutor-led webinar. This unit includes carefully chosen green and white teas which we send to you to brew and taste with your tutor.
After completing an assessment on each tea unit you will achieve the Tea Guide Award.
The Botanicals and Herbals unit is optional and not part of the assessment.

This is a self-guided unit exploring the stories and applications of the herbs and botanicals commonly found on drinks menus. It includes the spices used in chai, the botanicals blended with tea as well as the fresh herbs that infuse and brighten mocktails and cocktails.
This is optional as it is not part of the assessment to achieve the Tea Guide Award.
